Switch between practices

Move between the practices you belong to, and set up another one.

One Wren sign-in can belong to several practices: a group with separate businesses, a manager who looks after more than one office, or a consultant who buys for several clients. You switch between them without signing out. Carts, orders and inventory follow the practice you pick, so nothing gets mixed up.

Switch from the sidebar

  1. Press your practice's name at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Under Recently entered accounts, choose the practice you want.

Wren opens that practice. Its name now shows at the top of the sidebar, and everything you see belongs to it.

Not in the recent list? Press View all accounts to see every practice you belong to.

See all your practices

The Select Account page lists every practice you are a part of, with a count at the top, such as Accounts (3). To open it, do any of these:

  • Press your practice's name at the top of the sidebar, then View all accounts.
  • Press your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Switch Account.
  • In your profile settings, choose Switch Accounts in the menu.

Press a practice in the list to open it.

A practice you expected isn't listed

The list shows only the practices that have invited you. If one is missing, contact that practice's account admin and ask them to invite you, or check that they used the email you sign in with. Once you accept the invite, the practice appears in your list.

Set up another practice

Running a new business that needs its own account?

  1. Open the Select Account page.
  2. Under Need a new business account?, press Click here to create one.
  3. Work through the setup wizard for the new practice.

The new practice has its own locations, suppliers, team and subscription, separate from your others. See Set up your practice.

Your permissions in each practice

You can be an account admin in one practice and a team member in another. What you can do in each depends on the permissions that practice has given you. See Roles and permissions.
