Get help
Message the Wren team, learn by doing in Wren Academy's demo, or find an answer in this documentation.
Help is always one click away in Wren. You can message the Wren team, practise in an interactive demo, or look something up in this documentation. Pick whichever suits the moment.
The help menu
Press the help button at the bottom of the sidebar, beside the Wren logo. The Help & Support menu opens with three choices:
- Message Us: chat with the Wren team.
- Help Docs: open the help articles in a new tab.
- Tutorial: open Wren Academy's interactive demo.
Message us
- Open the help menu and choose Message Us.
- A chat window opens. Type your question and send it.
The Wren team replies in the same window. It's the quickest way to get help with something specific to your practice, such as a supplier connection that needs your attention.
Learn in Wren Academy's demo
The demo is a practice account with real suppliers and made-up orders. You can click anything you like: nothing you do there touches your own account or reaches a real supplier.
- Open the help menu and choose Tutorial.
- In Welcome to Wren Academy, choose See an order through Wren for a guided tour of one order, or Learn by course.
- Follow the steps. Each one points at the part of the page it's about, and the steps marked Try it ask you to press something yourself.
The tour takes one order from the catalog through approval, delivery and invoice, to the shelf, in a few minutes. The courses teach each part of Wren in more detail, grouped by job, such as Shop, Orders, Inventory and Account settings.
Use Search lessons in the academy to jump to a topic. You can also open the demo straight from the interactive demo link, even before you have an account.
