Track shipments
See every delivery on its way to your practice, and where each one stands.
Each supplier ships its part of an order on its own, so the boxes of one order can arrive on different days. The Shipments page brings every shipment from every supplier into one list, so you know what is coming, what is late and what has already arrived.
The Shipments page
Open Shipments in the sidebar. The counters at the top give you the picture at a glance:
- Total In Transit: shipments on their way.
- Awaiting Shipment: orders that have been sent but have not shipped yet.
- Total Received Shipments: shipments that have arrived and been received.
Read the list
Each row is one shipment. The columns include:
- Order #: the order the shipment belongs to.
- Shipment ID.
- Ship From and Ship To: the supplier sending it and the location receiving it.
- Items: how many items are in the box.
- Shipment status: where it is now.
- Tracking no.: the carrier's tracking number. The button beside it copies the number, ready to paste into the carrier's website.
- Carrier.
- Date Ordered and Date Delivered.
Press a row to open it and see the products inside, each with its Order Qty and Received Qty.
Filter by status
Next to Shipment Status, press a status to see only those shipments:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Awaiting Shipment | The order has been sent, but the supplier has not shipped it yet. |
| Pre-Transit | The carrier has a label, but has not picked the box up yet. |
| In Transit | The box is on its way. |
| Out for Delivery | The box is out with the driver today. |
| Available for Pickup | The box is waiting for you to collect it. |
| Delivered | The carrier has delivered the box. |
Press All to see every shipment again. Type in Search Items to narrow the list, and press Refresh to load the latest version of it.
Shipments of one order
To see only the shipments of one order, open the order and press its Shipments tab. Each row shows the Shipment ID, Supplier, Tracking number, Items and Shipment status, and you can receive from there as well. The order's Open Shipments counter tells you how many are still to come.
A shipment that is missing
Most shipments reach Wren by themselves once the supplier ships. If you know an order has gone out but it still reads Awaiting Shipment, you can add the shipment yourself. See Add a shipment.
