Close or reopen an order

Stop an order you no longer need, with a reason, and bring a closed order back.

Sometimes an order should not go ahead: plans changed, it was placed twice, or the items are no longer needed. Close Order stops it on purpose and records why, so anyone who opens it later knows what happened. A closed order stays in your history with the status Closed.

Closing is different from completing. An order that has arrived and been paid becomes Completed by itself, with no button to press. Close Order is for stopping an order before that point. See When an order is complete.

Close an order

Close Order is at the top of the order while it is a Draft, waiting in Pending Review, or Submitted.

  1. Open the order from Orders.
  2. Press Close Order.
  3. In the Close this order? window, type the reason for closing it. A reason is required.
  4. Press Yes, close order.

The order now reads Closed and shows up under the Closed filter on the Orders page.

Reopen an order

An order closed before it was sent to its suppliers can be brought back.

  1. Open Orders and press the Closed filter.
  2. Open the order.
  3. Press Reopen Order.

The order picks up where it left off, and you can carry on reviewing and sending it as usual.

Send an order back to draft instead

If an order waiting in Pending Review only needs changes, you do not have to close it. Open the menu with the three dots at the top of the order and choose Convert to draft. The order goes back to Draft so you can change it and press Ready for Review again.
