Saved carts and Auto-Ship

Most practices buy the same supplies again and again. A saved cart keeps a set of items under a name, such as Monthly restock, so you can reorder it in one press. With Auto-Ship, the cart reorders itself on a schedule you choose.

#Save a cart

1. Fill your cart with the items you want to keep.
2. In the Summary, press the small save button beside Order Now.
3. In Create Shopping Cart, type the Name of the cart and press Save.

Wren saves a copy and opens the new saved cart. Your Default Cart stays as it is. Each line is saved with its supplier, location, unit and quantity, so check the quantities before you save.

You can also start a new, empty cart from a product page: press the cart button beside the add button and choose Create a new cart.

#Find and manage your saved carts

Open Saved Carts under Shop to see one card for each cart. A card tagged Auto Ship shows the date of its next order; any other card shows the date of its previous order. Type part of a name in the search box to find a cart.

The three dots on a card open a menu:

• Rename cart changes the name. Type the new Name of the cart and press Save.
• Enable auto order puts the cart on Auto-Ship. On a cart already on Auto-Ship, this reads Disable auto order.
• Delete cart removes the cart. Wren asks first: Yes, delete removes it for good, No, keep it closes the question.

#Inside a saved cart

Press a card to open the cart. Its items are grouped by supplier, and By Suppliers and By Locations change the grouping. The Summary on the right adds it up, and its Settings button holds Rename Cart, Enable Auto-Ship or Cancel Auto-Ship, and Delete Cart.

Edit the items

1. Press Edit Cart above the items.
2. Change a line's unit from its menu, or its quantity with - and +.
3. To take an item out, press the bin icon on its line.
4. Press Save to keep your changes, or Cancel to leave without saving.

To add new items to a saved cart, choose it in the cart picker in the Catalog or on a product page, then add as usual.

Order it now

Press Order Now. Wren creates an order from everything in the cart and opens it for you to review. The saved cart keeps all its items for next time. The Last Order card shows when the cart was last ordered, and View opens that order.

#Set up Auto-Ship

1. Open the saved cart.
2. Press Set Auto-Ship. The Last Order, Frequency and Next Order cards appear. A new schedule starts at every 2 weeks.
3. Press Frequency and choose Every 2 Weeks, Every 3 Weeks, Every 4 Weeks, Every 6 Weeks or Every 8 Weeks. For another rhythm, use Add custom frequency and type any number of weeks up to 52.
4. Turn on Skip weekends if you want orders that fall on a Saturday or Sunday moved to Monday.
5. Press Save.
6. To choose the date of the next order, press Next Order and pick a day in the calendar, from tomorrow up to a year ahead.

On each order date, Wren creates a draft order from the cart for you to review, so nothing reaches a supplier without being seen. See Review and send an order.

#Turn Auto-Ship off

Press Settings in the cart's Summary and choose Cancel Auto-Ship, or choose Disable auto order from the card menu on Saved Carts. The cart stops ordering itself but keeps all its items, and Set Auto-Ship brings the schedule back whenever you want.
