Notifications

See what's happened in your practice, and choose which updates reach you by email and push.

Wren keeps you posted as your orders move: when something needs your approval, when a shipment arrives, when an invoice comes in. Every notification lands in the bell at the top of the page, and you choose which ones also reach you by email or push.

The notification bell

Press the bell at the top of the page to open your notifications.

  • Inbox holds your notifications, newest first. Unread ones stand out.
  • Archived holds the ones you've put away.

In the panel you can:

  • Open a notification. Press it to go straight to the order, shipment or page it's about.
  • Mark as read or Mark as unread, with the button on each notification.
  • Mark all as read, at the top of the panel, when you've caught up.
  • Archive a notification to clear it from your inbox. On the Archived tab, Unarchive brings it back.
  • Load more at the foot of the list to see older notifications.

The gear at the top of the panel opens your notification settings.

Open your notification settings

  1. Press your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Choose Notifications.

You can also press the gear in the notification bell. Your notifications are your own: the choices you make here don't change anyone else's.

Choose how you're notified

In-app notifications are always on, so nothing is ever missed in the bell. For the rest, notifications are grouped by category, such as Orders, Shipments, Inventory, Suppliers and Users.

  1. Press a category to open it and see each kind of notification in it.
  2. For each one, turn Email and Push on or off.

Your choices save as you make them, and Wren shows Saved at the top of the page.

When a category is closed, its summary tells you how it's set: how many types it holds, Off when the whole category is muted, and Custom when some channels are on and some off.

Mute a whole category

Use the switch on a category's header to turn every notification in it on or off at once. Muting a category is a quick way to quiet a part of Wren you don't work in.

Pop-up alerts

Under In-app, Pop-up alerts shows a brief floating alert on this device when a notification arrives. The setting belongs to the device you're on, so you can keep alerts on at your desk and off on a shared computer at the front desk.
